Week 8

 

This week Room 13 have been concentrating on their next steps as learners. Ahead of our Goal setting meetings in Week 9 we have looked through our Learner Profile with all of our School values on them and chosen which ones we want to work on. 

Mr Jones finally put up our completed Sound Words Art on the wall so that parents and teachers can see. 

We ended our week listening to Mrs Ghosh, Mr Jones, Miss Key, and even Mrs Tipelu tell their stories on migration and resilience, finding out where they and their families have come from, and their different experiences. 

Week 7

 

This week we have been doing lots of testing and learning about our New Windsor Way values. We started by drawing a scene in our books that involved being resilient.

Aliya wants to show resilience during spelling. 

On Friday we practiced a Sasa dance that we will perform in Week 8. 

Week 6

 

After a few hectic weeks, and another lockdown Room 13 is back into the swing of things. Over Lockdown we thought about how we could use our school values while learning at home and made digital posters.

Back in the classroom Room 13 has been working on their Pepeha and creating sound words in Art.

We have joined with Room 11 and Room 12 and have begun learning together.
